It works on almost every article-style page — news, blogs, magazines, recipes, profiles. Interactive web apps, dashboards, and online stores aren't the right fit. LinkedIn profiles get special AI-powered handling.
For most pages, all the work happens on your computer — nothing is sent anywhere. Two features use AI on our server: cleaning a LinkedIn profile and the Summarize button. With those, the page text is sent briefly to our server, processed by AI, then discarded — we don't store or share the content of any page.
Reader Mode hides clutter; Strip It rebuilds the page. It prints beautifully, works where Reader Mode silently fails, and handles things Reader can't — like LinkedIn profiles.

Strip It began with a real client problem: they simply wanted to print a LinkedIn profile, but there was no way to get a clean, readable copy out of the page. So we built one. It worked so well — on LinkedIn and every other cluttered page — that we loved it ourselves and decided to share it with the world.
